GARLIC BREAD

GARLIC BREAD
1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 loaf Italian bread

Cut bread 2/3 through from end to end. Combine butter, garlic, salt and pepper into microwavable bowl, cook uncovered 45 to 60 seconds on medium until butter is softened, not melted.
Mix to blend, spread butter mixture on bread. Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and place in preheated oven set at 350 degrees. Cook until hot, approximately 10 minutes.

PANEED GARLIC BREAD

1 loaf French bread, sliced
1 lb. butter
8 pieces garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and parsley. Continue cooking until garlic is tender, stirring constantly. Dredge French bread in butter/garlic mixture and brown both sides in a separate skillet over high heat. Serve hot.
